Welcome!

GTP’s centenary year productions!

School Of Rock

Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme… You better get me to school on time! School of Rock is a two-hour, two-act musical (plus interval), based on the hit movie. The show follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There, he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?

Directed by Nigel Passey, Musical Direction by Ian Sapiro and Choreography by Kim Grillo, this production will be at Yeadon Town Hall Monday 13th November to Saturday 18th November.

Past Production: Brassed Off

Brassed Off is a heart-warming story about community spirit and triumph in the face of adversity, Brassed Off is by turns funny and poignant and features rousing live music played by Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band. Returning to her hometown up north, Gloria discovers a community in crisis.

Directed by Rick Hyland, and Assistant Director Kat Owens, this wonderful northern show was performed at Yeadon Town Hall Wednesday 2nd August to Saturday 5th August.
